Adult supervision stays with this card

A responsible adult must supervise closely and constantly, stay within reach and avoid distractions whenever water is accessible. Follow the table and accessory instructions, age labels and warnings. Do not allow climbing, drinking the play water or access to small or damaged pieces. If supervision stops, end the activity and empty all water immediately.

This dry plan still needs adult supervision and age-appropriate products. If any water remains accessible nearby, the water-supervision guidance still applies.

Gather a few things

  • An emptied table, cleaned as instructed by an adult
  • A cloth appropriate for the product
  • A drying area children cannot access unsupervised
  • An accessory inventory

The adult setup

Adults drain all water and handle cleaning products before inviting the child to help with a dry, age-appropriate part. Do not give children chemical bottles or access to filled containers.

A simple sequence

  1. An adult checks that the table and containers are empty and the area is not slippery.
  2. Count clean accessories together on a stable dry surface.
  3. Follow the product instructions for drying and storage; an adult handles disassembly and heavy pieces.

One question to explore

Is there a piece with water still trapped inside? Set it aside for the adult rather than closing it in a storage bag.

Finish & put away

The adult checks that every water container is empty, the floor is dry, chemicals are secured and all pieces are stored out of unsupervised reach.
